(2 Thessalonians 3:1-5) – The Lord is faithful
There is evil and wickedness in the world… but the Lord is faithful.
There are enemies of the Gospel…but the Lord is faithful.
There is one who is most evil, hates every believer and anything that comes from God…but the Lord is faithful.
There is indeed very little faith to be found, but the Lord is faithful.
God provides so much for us. He’s given us His Spirit, His word, and His people to confidently move forward in all that He’s commanded.
And prayer fuels this great commission.
If we want to see anything significant happen for God’s kingdom, we must pray.
We must pray that our hearts would be enveloped with the Love of God given in the Gospel.
We must pray that our hearts would steadily remember the perfect obedience of Jesus.
His obedience fuels ours. His love inspires and compels ours.
God is always faithful. He never changes. I’m thankful for this as I think about my life and mission as a Christian.
